WWENEWS.eu interviewed WWE Smackdown women’s Champion Charlotte Flair this week to talk about her match at Wrestlemania 34 versus Asuka, her fears, her hopes and much more. Here you can listen to the full interview:
On how she is training, mentally speaking, to perform at Wrestlemania 34:
You really can’t prepare for that. Is just scary every year when you walk into Wrestlemania but I do know that is the grandest stage of them all and I want to make the biggest impact and impression so right now I’m very focused, I’m only thinkin about one thing and … it’s almost overwhelming I can’t explain it. The anticipation leading up to it… I just know that this is gonna be one of the biggest matches of my career.
On her rival for a potential main event at Wrestlemania:
If this was the main event even Asuka but I would to have a Fatal 4Way match against the four horsewomen.
On Jim Ross saying that she is the Hulk Hogan of the women’s werstling:
I guess I’m tall, blonde and tanned. It is a very big compliment, is very nice that JR said that about me.
On her father still advicing her:
Always, everyday. I’ve had a lot of success but I still want to improve and grow as a performer there is so much to be done that a matter of being on track and believing in myself, my dad is my biggest advocate and tells me the same thing every morning: “You know who you are and keep working hard”. If I have my doubts he’s always thereto lift me up”
