WWEnews.eu interviews AJ Styles
WWEnews.eu interviewed WWE Champion and Smackdown Live Superstar AJ Styles. “The Champ that runs the camp” spoke to us about the importance of the women in this videogame and a future cover featuring one of the female talents of the WWE roster. Here is the video of the official presentation and our Q&A with “The Face that runs the place” The Phenomenal AJ Styles:
On the posibility of a WWE2K cover featuring a female talent:
AJ STYLES: With the movement that the women have had, not just in the United States but in the world and in WWE, it’s only a matter of time before there will be a woman on the cover of 2K … whatever year it comes up! You know, I saw a lot of mock covers that fans have done and they looked amazing, and a lot of them were with the women in WWE. So, it’s only a matter of time.
On a future videogame with spanish ring announcers
AJ STYLES: Well, I’d be more than happy to break their tables. I think that’d be a lot of fun, and I’d like to see all those tables stacked up on these big PPV matches in the game. I think it’s a great idea.
Note: With some explaining and context, he gave the above response, which is funny but indirectly suggests he would support Spanish language commentary in the game at some point.
On Nakamura being his bitter rival
AJ STYLES: I think the most difficult match was at WrestleMania [34.] Two guys who were getting after it … wanting to win. And then, the aftermath of that match. It was losing a friend to a low blow and seeing the person that Shinsuke Nakamura turned into was the most difficult thing.
